Description
Providence Rex was the 2021 Great Yorkshire Show Breed Champion (Male & Overall) and then again stood Male Champion (and reserve overall) in 2022. He joined Nipna from his breeder last summer and has had a tremendous crop of lambs for the flock this Spring. Rex adds both size, strength and fleece quality to the ewes. He has also remained truly correct in his limbs and mouth as he ages, both very important characteristics to the health of any flock.
The Nipna Flock of Wensleydale Sheep was established in 2008 and they currently run 30 pedigree white ewes and 5 black ewes at any one time. They have won many major awards over the years including the Great Yorkshire Championship, Breeder of the year and Fleece trophies. They aim to keep a healthy flock that stand up both as a carcass as well as a fleece producer.
