The ram was bred by Lilia Hutchinson and having had the foresight to retain a share with Mullinvale, has reaped the rewards for their flock this year. A son of Pyeston Real Deal he was sold last year at Lanark for 30,000gns [~ $25,000] at the drop of the gavel. Progeny sold this year by Lilia, two at Lanark and one at the National Show and Sale at Shrewsbury, delivered an average of 19,333gns for the top three prices.
